In 2019 more than 1.5 million international tourists visited Tanzania. More than 30,000 visitors came from Eastern Europe. It is a relatively new, but fast-growing market with a large potential for new business contacts. In 2019 Poland formed the 10th largest group of travelers in Tanzania, from January to July 2022 it was already No. 4 source for Tanzania with 29,000 visitors and No. 1 for Zanzibar with almost 25,000 visitors. The guests from Eastern Europe love the white sandy beaches on Zanzibar, but safaris and mountain climbs are also increasingly popular.
